The Niculitel Quarry, located within the open-pit mining perimeter Dealul Meseaua Rosie, has been carrying out its activity since 2001, within CCCF SA and Dunapref SA.
SC DUNAPREF CARIERE SRL has as scope of business the extraction and processing of the rock for construction, as well as the commercialisation of quarry aggregates used is construction.
The mined rock is diabase, class A.
The diabase from the perimeter of Niculitel has a homogenous aspect, a massive, compact, rough texture and a greenish-blackish colour.
DUNAPREF CARIERE –NICULITEL QUARRY operates on the basis of the ANRM authorisation no. 55-LS/12.12.2017, environment authorisation no. 8504/25.10.2012.
The Quality Management System is certified and implemented in compliance with the requirements of the standard SR EN ISO 9001:2015 by the Certification Body RINA SIMTEX.
Within the Niculitel quarry, the factory production control is certified in System 2+, by the Certification Body RINA SIMTEX, which issued the Certificates of Conformity certifying that our products are proper to be used in constructions for bituminous mixtures and for the finishing of surfaces, used in the construction of highways, airports and other traffic areas, in civil engineering and roads construction, for the production of concrete, railway ballast.

The technical-material equipment of the quarry is in compliance with the adopted open-pit mining method and ensures a high productivity.
The holes are made with a borer type Atlas Copco. The holes have a diameter of Ø 90 mm, with a boring speed of 12,5 m/h, and the holes’ length being of 13 m.
The de-rocked material is loaded in motor dumpers (Terex TA 30) by using the quarry’s excavators.
The useful rocks’ processing is made in the crushing-sorting station type Nordberg, which is completely automated.
The warehouse of the final products has separating walls between sorts.
